Audrey Skirball Theatre Projects will sponsor "Common Ground Festival 5" on the UCLA campus June 23-27. Ten attractions ranging from staged readings of new plays to theatre labs and workshops will be offered free of charge.

Performance artist Karen Finley will lead a three-day lab for writer-performers June 23, 24 and 25, 12-5 PM. Enrollment by application only.

Other scheduled productions include the Diavolo Dance Theatre, Oasis Theatre Company, House of Dames, Quincy Long, Fabulous Monsters, Joyce Guy and Julie Jensen.

"The Festival is meant to explore diverse directions toward a shared destination: vibrant new theatre," said an ASK spokesperson.
