An e-mail from Hell’s Kitchen Online states that “The application calls for the disposition of city-owned property (the air rights above the fire house on the south-east corner of 48 and Eighth) and a Special Permit for obtaining a Theater Rehabilitation Bonus for a 44 percent increase in size.”

On May 10, the HKOL e-mail states, “the full Community Board 5 will vote on the matter (same building and floor).”
