News Complete Cast Announced for Hairspray In Concert With "RuPaul's Drag Race" Winner Jinkx Monsoon Complete casting has been announced for the 5th Avenue Theatre's concert production of the Tony Award-winning musical Hairspray, featuring Jerick Hoffer, whose alter-ego Jinkx Monsoon was crowned the winner of this season's "RuPaul's Drag Race."

As previously reported, Hoffer, who appeared as Angel in the 5th Avenue production of Rent, will play Velma Von Tussle in the concert production of Hairspray that will run June 20-23 in Seattle.

Hairspray will be directed by 5th Avenue artistic director David Armstrong, with musical direction by Seattle Men's Chorus artistic director Dennis Coleman. The production is a collaboration between the 5th Avenue and the Seattle Men's Chorus.

The cast will also feature Kat Ramsburg as Tracy Turnblad, Eric Polani Jensen as Edna Turnblad, Louis Hobson (Broadway's Next to Normal) as Corny Collins, Cynthia Jones as Motormouth Mabel, Allen Fitzpatrick as Wilbur Turnblad, Aaron C. Finley as Link Larkin, Jessica Skerritt as Amber Von Tussle, Kirsten deLohr Helland as Penny Pingleton, Heath Saunders as Seaweed J. Stubbs, Jeff Steitzer as Spitzer, Bobbie Kotula as Prudy Pingleton and Camille Collaco Little Inez. Featured as the Dynamites are Candi Hall, Alexandria Henderson and Sarah Russell.

Completing the cast are Jordon Bolden, Sarah Rose Davis, Tori Gresham, Jimmie D. Herrod, Jr., Charlie Johnson, Matthew Steven Lawrence, Kasey Nusbickel, Isaiah Parker, Connor Russell, Patrick Shelton, Katherine Strohmaier and Madison Willis. The Seattle Men's Chorus' vocal ensemble Captain Smartypants collectively perform a host of featured roles.

Marc Shaiman (music/co-lyricist) and Scott Wittman (co-lyricist) penned the Tony-winning score to Hairspray, which has a book by Mark O'Donnell and Thomas Meehan.  For tickets phone (206) 625-1900 or visit 5thAvenue.
