News Complete Casting Announced for Off-Broadway's The Soldier Dreams Theatre East will present Daniel Macivor's The Soldier Dreams beginning March 25 Off-Broadway at The Lion Theatre (Theatre Row).

Directed by Judson Jones, the production will officially open March 29 at 8 PM.

The cast will comprise William Franke, Heather Hill, Bryan Jarrett, Christa Kimlicko Jones, Denny Lawrence, Helen Merino and Joseph Mitchell Parks.

"David’s family is gathered by his bed at home as he lies in a coma and dreams of his secret life," according to press notes for the 80-minute intermissionless production. "His two sisters, Tish and Judy, his brother-in-law, Sam, and his partner Richard wrestle with emotions —and sometimes each other—as they struggle to come to terms with losing David. What would he want? They all come up with the same answer: 'If David had his way we'd all be dancing.'"

The production will also feature set design by Lea Anello, lighting design by Jessica M. Burgess and sound design and music composed by Scott O'Brien.

Performances are scheduled for Tuesday at 7 PM, Wednesday-Saturday at 8 PM with matinees Saturday at 2 PM and Sunday at 3 PM. Performances will continue through April 9.
