News Complete Casting Announced for Peccadillo Revival of The Silver Cord Casting has been announced for The Peccadillo Theater Company's upcoming revival of Sidney Howard’s 1926 play The Silver Cord, which will begin performances June 5 at Theatre at St. Clement's.

Directed by Obie winner Dan Wackerman, the production will officially open June 11 at 7 PM.

The cast will feature Wilson Bridges (Academy, Signs of Life), Dale Carman (City of Hope, Dogfight, Peccadillo’s Room Service), Caroline Kaplan (Three Sisters, Williamstown; Going Live!, Guthrie), Thomas Matthew Kelley (“How to Make It in America,” Love Goes to Press) and Victoria Mack (“The Good Wife,” Broadway’s Venus in Fur).

The Silver Cord, one of the most successful entries of the 1926-27 Broadway season, "centers on a domineering matriarch who is pathologically close to her two adult sons," according to press notes. Originally starring Laura Hope Crews, the play opened Dec. 20, 1926, at the Golden Theatre, running for 232 performances. Crews subsequently starred in the 1933 RKO film version with Irene Dunne and Joel McCrea, directed by John Cromwell.

The production will also feature scenic and lighting design by Harry Feiner with costume design by Gail Cooper-Hecht.

Show times will be Wednesday at 7 PM, Thursday-Saturday 8 PM, Saturday at 2 PM and Sunday at 3 PM. Theatre at St. Clement’s is located at 423 West 46th Street (between Ninth & Tenth Ave.) Tickets are $55 and are available through www.ThePeccadillo.com or by calling OvationTix at (212) 352-3101.
