News Constantine Maroulis, Cheyenne Jackson and More Will Perform at the 2012 Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction Tony Award nominee Constantine Maroulis (Rock of Ages, The Wedding Singer) and Cheyenne Jackson (Xanadu, All Shook Up, "Glee") are among the performers that will take part in the 2012 Songwriters Hall of Fame Annual Induction and Awards Dinner June 14 in NYC.

Also set to perform and/or present at the ceremony, which will be held in Times Square at the Marriott Marquis Hotel, are Meat Loaf (The Rocky Horror Show, Hair), Dave Grohl, Stevie Nicks, Kenny Rogers, Lyle Lovett, Emmylou Harris, L.P., Jerry Moss and Take 6.

Fantasticks and 110 in the Shade writers Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones are being inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame alongside Jim Steinman (Whistle Down the Wind), Gordon Lightfoot, Bob Seger and Don Schlitz. The inductees were previously announced in February.

Also honored at the event will be Grammy Award winner Bette Midler with the Sammy Cahn Lifetime Achievement Award, singer Ne-Yo with the Hal David Starlight Award and Lance Freed with the Abe Olman Publisher Award; the first-ever Pioneer Award will be posthumously awarded to Woody Guthrie. "Stand By Me" is the Towering Song with co-writer Ben E. King being honored with the Towering Performance Award.

Established in 1969, the Songwriters Hall of Fame (SHOF) "serves as a vital bridge between music’s past and future. In the Hall, musical pioneers are enshrined and celebrated, while the organization’s music community outreach grooms the next generation of troubadours."
