Created by Dane E. Leeman (book) and Billy Butler (book, music and lyrics), Gay Bride of Frankenstein will receive an 11:30 PM concert presentation at the Pub. A five-track EP of songs from the musical was just released by co-writer Butler and his band The Monster Makers.

Set to appear are Tony Award nominee Constantine Maroulis (Jekyll & Hyde, Rock of Ages, Toxic Avenger), Rachel Potter (Evita), Louis Hobson (Next to Normal), Ashley Kate Adams (La Cage aux Folles) as well as cast members from earlier stagings of Gay Bride..., Megan Kane, Wade Elkins and Derek Carley.

It is characterized as a "pop/rock, fairy tale musical that follows the exploits of four high school friends on one fateful Halloween night at a very unconventional Monsters Ball. It's John Hughes meets Scooby-Doo, and asks the age old question: 'Will the girl get the girl?'"

Gay Bride of Frankenstein was staged at the New York Musical Theatre Festival in 2009. An Off-Broadway run had previously been announced for the 2011-12 season; no dates of production have been announced. The musical was originally produced as a workshop at The Players' Ring in Portsmouth, NH.
