The 7 PM benefit concert, which debuts 15 world-premiere songs, returns to Joe's Pub after a sold-out first edition in fall 2012. The evening benefits The Red Cross.  

Once Upon a Time in New York City 2 features the work of musical theatre writers, ages 19-90, who penned material about someone who changed their idea of New York City.

Scheduled to perform are David Austin, Jenni Barber (The Performers), Jeff Blumenkrantz, Andrea Burns (In the Heights), Cott (Newsies), Dan Erben, Michael Gioia, Maribeth Graham, Benjamin Howes (Scandalous), Emma Hunton (Spring Awakening), Megan Kane, Eric Michael Krop (Godspell), Eric William Morris (Mamma Mia!), Alexander Sage Oyen, Jessica Phillips (Leap of Faith, Next to Normal), Will Roland, Charlie Rosen, Nadia Quinn (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson), Rodriguez ("Smash"), Dana P. Rowe (The Fix), George Salazar (Godspell), Reynaldo Soriano, Jessica Vosk, Elanna White, Yaniv Zarif and more.

Contributing writers include David Are, David Austin, David Are, Burt Bacharach and Steven Sater, Anna Ty Bergman and Alexander Sage Oyen, Nick Blaemire, Jeff Blumenkrantz, Joe Church, Michael Finke, Francesca Garrard, Amanda Green, Maribeth Graham and Dana Rowe, Doug Katsaros and Amanda Yesnowitz, Mike Pettry, Sam Salmond and Georgia Stitt.

The concert is created by Caleb Hoyer and Jennifer Ashley Tepper, creators of the If It Only Even Runs A Minute series.
