On March 18 Playbill.com broke the news that theatrical licensing organization Music Theatre International was exploring possible licensing options for "Glee," though no definitive plans for a professional stage adaptation were in place. FOX executives denied the news.
After filming on the first season concluded, the young cast of "Glee" embarked on a four-city concert tour last May. Murphy has also stated that a film version of the concert tour is also on his radar.
