News Coyote REP's Rising Moon Gala to Feature Gonzalez, Jackson and Epperson Nov. 3 As it embarks on its second season, Coyote REP has announced the talent assembled for its upcoming Rising Moon Gala fundraiser on Nov. 3 at the Players Club.

In the Heights stars Mandy Gonzalez and Chris Jackson, and actor John Epperson (aka Lypsinka), will perform prior to the presentation of Coyote REP's Moon Awards.

The Moon Awards, which honor outstanding contributions to the theatre, will be presented to playwright Jeremy Dobrish as Outstanding Playwright for Deception, and the Moon Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Theatre will be presented to John Martello, executive director of The Players.

The Rising Moon Gala will begin with a cocktail reception at 8PM, to be immediately followed by the evening's performers and an auction.

Among the items being auctioned during the fundraiser are tickets to the Tony Awards, orchestra tickets to the Broadway show of the winner's choice, tickets to a taping of "Saturday Night Live" and "Live with Regis and Kelly", two Day-Hopper Passes to Disney World in Orlando, VIP tickets to "Finding Nemo," a two-night stay at a suite in the Lexington Hotel in Orlando, and NY Giants tickets.

The not-for-profit theatre company, Coyote REP, is "dedicated to balancing process and production, committed to developing, producing and inspiring original plays through innovative means: (R)ecorded sound plays, an (E)lectronic documentary and (P)roductions for the stage - REP." Coyote REP has presented Megan Mostyn-Brown's girl, Coyote Rising by Tira Palmquist, Telescopes by Mat Smart, and Moon Award winner Rebecca Tourino's The Naked Eye Planets.
