Casting is now complete for the world premiere of Alan Hruska's New House Under Construction, which will begin performances at Off-Broadway's 59E59 Theaters Dec. 4.

Hruska directs the world premiere engagement, which will feature Tony Crane (Sight Unseen), Sam Coppola (Waiting for Godot), Shannon Koob (The Syringa Tree), Nancy Lemenager (Chicago, Movin' Out) and Kevin Isola (Brooklyn Boy).

Previously announced actors Jessica Hecht and Chris Eigeman are no longer involved in the production. A reason was not provided for their departure.

New House Under Construction, according to press notes, centers on "two married couples approaching forty [who] reunite in the lake district town where they all grew up. It's been fifteen years, but old rivalries and passions as well as long-buried secrets ignite, and re-entangle, their relationships."

New House will continue through Jan. 4, 2009 at 59E59 Theaters. The run is being produced by Victory Theater Company with Rock and a Hard Place and Red Horse Productions. Creative duties will be announced shortly.
