Although the categories for the "Creative Arts Awards" have not been officially announced, they will likely include Best Scenic Design of a Play, Best Scenic Design of a Musical, Best Costume Design of a Play, Best Costume Design of a Musical, Best Lighting Design of a Play, Best Lighting Design of a Musical and Best Orchestrations.
The Antoinette Perry "Tony" Awards are "bestowed annually on theatre professionals for distinguished achievement." The Tonys are presented by the League of American Theatres and Producers and the American Theatre Wing.
Tony nominee Sean Hayes will host the 64th Annual Tony Awards telecast, which will be broadcast live June 13 on CBS beginning at 8 PM ET. Presenters are scheduled to include Antonio Banderas, Justin Bartha, Cate Blanchett, Michael Douglas, Kelsey Grammer, Scarlett Johansson, Laura Linney, Lucy Liu, Lea Michele, Helen Mirren, Matthew Morrison, Chris Noth, Bernadette Peters, David Hyde Pierce, Tony Shalhoub, Liev Schreiber, Denzel Washington and Raquel Welch.
