The 2-4 PM event features musical performances and remembrances from many of McGlinn's friends and colleagues, including Kim Criswell, Rebecca Luker, George Dvorsky, Teresa Stratas, Hugh Panaro, Korliss Uecker, Ted Chapin, Larry Moore, William Hicks, Debbie Gravitte, Brent Barrett, Judy Kaye and Jason Graae, among others. Attendees can expect to hear the work of Jerome Kern, George Gershwin, Richard Rodgers, Cole Porter, Victor Herbert and Richard Wagner.
John McGlinn, a conductor and musical archivist who devoted himself to finding and recording the restored scores of early works of the American musical theatre, died in February.
