News Critics and Columnists Talk Tony on June 2 Panel What do theatre people enjoy even more than winning a Tony Award? Talking about who might win a Tony Award, of course. A collection of theatre journalists will kibitz about that very subject at June 2 panel held at New York University.

The panel, didactically titled "Theater Critics and Theater Lovers Discuss Who Will Win A 2003 Tony Award...and Why?," will feature Elysa Gardener of USA Today, Mike Kuchwara of Associated Press, Michael Riedel of the New York Post, Patrick Pacheco of Show People, Tom O'Neil of In Touch Weekly and David Sheward of Backstage. The evening is sponsored by the odd couple of New York University's School of Continuing and Professional Studies [SCPS] and GoldDerby.com, which describes itself as "the ultimate, unofficial awards fans' site." Michael Zam, head of SCPS's Writing Program, will moderate the discussion.

The event will take place at 7 PM at NYU SCPS Midtown Center, Room 1027 11 West 42nd St. (between 5th and 6th Avenues). This event is open to the public. Tickets are $15 per person and may be ordered by calling (212) 998-7171 (mention reference code: R03.9180). For further information, call (212) 998-7145.
