News   Cry-Baby's Nick Blaemire Will Be Part of Reading of New Play Timepiece

An invitation-only reading of Ben Bartolone's new play Timepiece will be held April 9 in NYC at the Manhattan Theatre Club.

Directed by Markus Potter, the reading will feature the talents of Nick Blaemire (Cry-Baby, Dogfight)>

Timepiece, according to press notes, "follows John Kirby who is on the run from his past. Between New York City and a small town in the suburbs, he has been working hard to forget an unloving father, an absent mother, and a life of underachievement. All is going according to plan when a sudden crisis forces him to address the past and work towards the future."

Playwright Bartolone and producers Tim Whitfield, Craig & Ann Major and TIMEPIECE LLC used crowdsourcing to fundraise for the reading. The financial goal was met and exceeded in 72 hours.
