News CSC Cancels Oct. 31 Performance of Ivanov, With Ethan Hawke, Due to Blackout Off-Broadway's Classic Stage Company, located on East 13th Street, is among the theatres affected by the blackout that has kept a large portion of Manhattan dark the past two days. As a result, the Oct. 31 performance of Ivanov has been canceled, according to the company's Twitter account.

Ivanov stars Ethan Hawke, Joely Richardson, Juliet Rylance and Austin Pendleton. Previews began Oct. 14. It is officially scheduled to open Nov. 4 for a run through Dec. 9.

Additional theatres in the area forced to scuttle performances due to the power outage include The Public Theater, The Vineyard Theatre and LaMaMa.

Pendleton directs the production that also features Glenn Fitzgerald, Annette Hunt, Stephanie Janssen, Roberta Maxwell, George Morfogen, James Patrick Nelson, Anthony Newfield, Jonathan Marc Sherman and Anne Troupe.

Translated by Carol Rocamora, the production features scenic design by Tony Award winner Santo Loquasto, costumes by Marco Piemontese, lighting by Keith Parham and original music and sound by Ryan Rumery.

Tickets are available at www.classicstage.org or by calling (212) 352-3101. Tickets are $60 on Tuesday through Thursdays and $65 on weekends; $55 tickets are available for select side seats (all performances).
