News Cuccioli, Hoty, Leavel, Von Essen, Bogardus, Baldwin, Engel Set for Muny Season A host of Broadway favorites — including Tony Award-winning Drowsy Chaperone Beth Leavel — will be part of the summer season at the St. Louis Muny, the nation's oldest and largest outdoor theatre.

The season, which regularly attracts performers from The Great White Way, will feature productions of 42nd Street (June 15-21), Annie (June 22-30), Meet Me in St. Louis (July 6-12), Godspell (July 13-19), The Music Man (July 20-26), Camelot (July 27-Aug. 2) and Hairspray (Aug. 3-9). Initial casting for the seven award-winning musicals has been announced. Expect complete casting at a later date.

Heading the cast of 42nd Street will be Shannon O'Bryan as Peggy Sawyer, David Elder as Billy Lawler, Robert Cuccioli as Julian Marsh, Dee Hoty as Dorothy Brock and Nikki Snelson as Anytime Annie.

Tony winner Beth Leavel will be the evil Miss Hannigan in the Muny's Annie with John Schuck as Daddy Warbucks, Christianne Tisdale as Grace, Jim Newman as Rooster and Stacey Logan as Lily.

The Meet Me in St. Louis cast will boast Brynn O'Malley as Esther, Catherine Walker as Rose, Rob Sapp as Lon, Max von Essen as John Truitt, Lewis Stadlen as Grandfather, Stephen Bogardus as Mr. Smith and Leslie Denniston as Mrs. Smith.

The cast of Stephen Schwartz's Godspell will be led by Eric Kunze as Jesus, while the Tony-winning The Music Man will star Jim Clow as Harold Hill, Kate Baldwin as Marian, Jeb Brown as Marcellus and Georgia Engel as Mrs. Paroo.

The trio leading Lerner and Loewe's Camelot will be Jeff McCarthy as Arthur, Jenny Powers as Geunevere and Lewis Cleale as Lancelot.

The final production of the season, Hairspray, will feature Paul Vogt as Edna, Joline Mujica as Tracy, Lara Teeter as Wilbur, Kecia Lewis Evans as Motormouth, Ashley Spencer as Amber, Meggie Cansler as Penny, Constantine Rousouli as Link and Christian White as Seaweed.
