Latino troupe Culture Clash revisit their greatest hits, plus new material aimed at the city of Berkeley, in Culture Clash in AmeriCCa, extending an extra week at Berkeley Repertory Theatre through March 10. Rep artistic director Tony Taccone helms the evening of comedy, which began Feb. 1.

Culture Clash is Richard Montoya, Ric Salinas and Herbert Siguenza. Their past shows have included Anthology: A 15 Year Retrospective, A Bowl of Beings, Bordertown, Radio Mambo and Nuyorican Stories, which blend political, social and cultural commentary with vaudeville-styled comedy. Culture Clash made its debut in 1984 at the Galeria de la Raza on 24th and Bryant Streets in San Francisco's Mission District, an area they recently paid tribute to with Mission Magic Mystery Tour.

The aforementioned shows explore the many-faceted latino experience in America - from Radio Mambo's Cuban exiles to Bordertown's Tijuana and San Diego natives to Nuyorican Stories's early Puerto Rican activists in Manhattan. AmeriCCa also adds some special material taken from issues affecting contemporary Berkeley.
