Cumming (Cabaret, Spider-Man) leads the New York component of the GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) honors, while comedian Bruce Vilanch (Hairspray) hosts the San Francisco GLAAD ceremony and Candis Cane and Wilson Cruz host the Los Angeles event.

As part of the New York ceremony, Tony-winning actress Cynthia Nixon (Rabbit Hole, "Sex and the City") is set to receive the Vito Russo Award for her work to promote equal rights for members of the LGBT community.

"Cynthia Nixon has been a vocal and visible advocate who has transformed cultural attitudes about our community," said GLAAD president Jarrett Barrios in a statement. "She is a perfect example of how sharing your personal story and speaking out for marriage equality can inspire change among fair-minded Americans. It is our privilege to honor her."

GLAAD is also awarding a special recognition honor to the Tony-winning musical Hair, penned by James Rado, Gerome Ragni and Galt MacDermot.

Scheduled to appear are Nigel Barker, Bryan Batt, Sandra Bernhard, Dustin Lance Black, Ron Calivati, Brett Claywell, Brian Graden, Michael Patrick King, Jay Manuel, Sarah Paulson, Rosie Perez, Gabourney Sibide, Meredith Vieira, Sigourney Weaver and Jill Zarin. GLAAD theatre nominations follow:
