Trip Cullman directs the MCC Theater production that will officially open Nov. 17. The run is scheduled through Dec. 7.

Smith ("Big Love"), Greenspan (Coraline, The Royal Family), Funke (If There Is I Haven't Found It Yet) and Robbins (Brighton Beach Memoirs) are joined by Pico Alexander ("Orange Is The New Black"), Lilly Englert (King Lear), Colby Minifie (The Pillowman), Will Pullen (The Wayside Motor Inn) and Sophie Shapiro.

The play is based on Stephens' own experiences as a teacher. The playwright is currently represented with the Broadway transfer of the Olivier Award-winning production of his play The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, which opened to strong reviews Oct. 5 at the Barrymore Theatre.

According to MCC Theater, "In a private school outside of Manchester, England a group of highly-articulate seventeen year-olds flirt and posture their way through the day while preparing for their A-Level mock exams. With hormones raging and minimal adult supervision, nothing can mask the underlying tension that becomes increasingly pronounced as the clock ticks towards the ultimate dismissal."
