The cast also features a host of Broadway performers, including Gypsy actress Tammy Blanchard, Alex Hurt (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof), Kellie Overbey (Twentieth Century, Buried Child), John Pankow (Equivocation, Twelve Angry Men) and Stephen Plunkett (War Horse).

Helmed by multi-Tony nominee Scott Ellis (On the Twentieth Century, The Elephant Man), an opening night is scheduled for Nov. 9 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater.

In Dada Woof Papa Hot, Alan and Rob are an older married couple with a three-year-old daughter. During the course of a school year, the two, along with their friends, struggle with what it means to be married with children during this time of social and cultural change. Using both comedy and drama, the play questions whether gay parents face the same challenges as straight ones, or whether there is something essentially different about being a gay dad.

The production features set design by John Lee Beatty, costume design by Jennifer von Mayrhauser, lighting by Peter Kaczorowski and original music and sound by John Gromada.

Parnell's earlier play QED also played LCT, where it enjoyed an extended run. Most recently, he wrote the new book for the Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz musical The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

The Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater is located at 150 West 65th St. For more information on all Lincoln Center Theater productions, visit LCT
