Stewart ("Third Rock from the Sun") will star as Keaton with Eagan (The Secret Garden) as Mae. The cast will also include Jake Broder, Tegan Ashton Cohan, Conner Duffy, Joe Fria, Scott Leggett, Guy Picot, Rena Strober and Pat Towne.

Jaime Robledo will direct the production that officially opens June 8 for a run through June 29. Stoneface is presented at the Pasadena Playhouse following a run at the Sacred Fools Theatre Company last season. Vanessa Claire Stewart, whose husband takes on the central role, is also the writer of Louis and Keely Live at the Sahara.

Here's how Stoneface is billed: "Chronicled through the lens of his own silent films, Stoneface recreates some of Buster Keaton’s most memorable gags live on stage, capturing the legend of a bygone era and telling the tale of the redemption of one of Hollywood’s greatest performers."

The production has music by Ryan Johnson, choreography by Natasha Norman, stunt choreography by Andrew Amani, and projection design by Ben Rock and Anthony Backman.
