News Dale Wasserman's Enchanted Land to Be Read Oct. 31 The Classical Theater of Harlem will present a reading of Dale Wasserman’s An Enchanted Land at The Player’s Club, located at 16 Gramercy Park South, on Oct. 31 at 7 PM.

The play, by the author of Man of La Mancha and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, is set in Haiti, and "examines a love triangle involving a wealthy factory owner looking to escape the social strictures of his island country and reinvent himself as a latter-day Gauguin, as well as a young girl of the people and her wealthy mother, who attempts to destroy the relationship through voodoo." Admission is free and reservations may be made by emailing CTH at [email protected].
