Dame Edna Does Beyonce's "Single Ladies"

PlayBlog   Dame Edna Does Beyonce's "Single Ladies"

In 2008 Beyoncé Knowles' hit song "Single Ladies" and its Fosse-inspired video made waves among music lovers. It also spawned dozens of amateur Youtube videos of fans re-creating the singular choreography.

Cut to 2010 and the Broadway production of All About Me. Dame Edna is back on Broadway doling out her gladdies alongside her co-star Michael Feinstein.

Edna is known for being a cultural lightning rod, and no Youtube sensation (or hit single) would ever pass her by. So, it is only fitting that in addition to performing songs from the Australian Songbook, she is getting her hip-hop on nightly at the Henry Miller's Theatre.

Watch her put a ring on it:
