News 'Dames' Unite to Benefit Women's Health, March 6, 2000 On March 6, 2000, various divas of the stage and screen will join together at Broadway's Shubert Theater for "Nothing Like a Dame." The one night only event, produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, will benefit the Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative of The Actors' Fund of America.

On March 6, 2000, various divas of the stage and screen will join together at Broadway's Shubert Theater for "Nothing Like a Dame." The one night only event, produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, will benefit the Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative of The Actors' Fund of America. The March 1, 1999 event, also at the Shubert, featured a bevy of Broadway's best, including Anne Meara, Donna Murphy, Christiane Noll, Faith Prince and Mary Testa.

Tickets for the 2000 "Dame" ($40-$1000) will go on sale in February 2000. For more information, call The Actors' Fund of America's DAME LINE at 1-888 DAME-TIX.
