News   Dance Lovers! Prepare for the First-Ever Channel Devoted Entirely to Dance
Dancers and dance lovers are anticipating the launch of Dance Network, the first-ever online channel dedicated entirely to dance-related programming. According to Deadline, the new channel will debut in the fall and be subscription-based.

Dance Network will reportedly feature programming devoted to all forms of movement and dance, including exercise and sport. Three of the network's launch shows were announced on Deadline: "Travelling Dancer," showcasing dance styles from around the globe; "To The Stage," a show inspired by "Glee" that documents real-life competitive choirs; and "Steady Mobbin'" about flash mobs.

The full slate of programs will be announced before the official launch in October.

"It's more than just watching. It’s about connecting through Dance. Dance Network will provide a dynamic range of resources for Dance lovers to engage the world of Dance every way possible," states a description on the website.

The channel will be available on web browsers, iOS and Android devices, and Roku. Plans to expand to set-top boxes, video-game consoles and other platforms are also in the works.

The creators have made a call-out for advice in creating the new platform, specifically to help them make content choices and give feedback. To be involved, visit DanceNetworkTV
