News DanceBreak Announces Six Choreographers to Be Showcased The DanceBreak Foundation announced the six choreographers whose work will be showcased at DanceBreak 2007 on Feb. 12 at New World Stages: Kelly Devine, Linda Goodrich, Stas Kmiec, CJay Philip, Josh Prince and Paul Stancato.

The selection committee included Kathleen Marshall, Jack O'Brien, Walter Bobbie, Rob Ashford, Kevin McCollum, Stephen Schwartz, Larry Fuller, Beth Williams, Scott Schwartz, Stephen Flaherty, Andrew Lippa, Andrew Asnes, Hal Luftig, Adam Zotovich, Elizabeth Williams, Christopher Ashley, Robyn Goodman, Marge Champion and Donald Saddler. Now entering its sixth year, DanceBreak gives choreographers the opportunity to shine in showcase performances before an invited audience of Broadway producers and directors.

Past featured choreographers include Casey Nicholaw (Spamalot, The Drowsy Chaperone), Andy Blankenbeuhle (The Apple Tree) and Mia Michaels ("So You Think You Can Dance" on Fox).

New World Stages is on 50th Street between Eighth and Ninth Avenues. The event will go up at 1 PM and at 6 PM. For more information visit www.dancebreak.org.
