Allegra Kent, principal ballerina with the New York City Ballet for more than two decades, will appear in person 5-7 PM Wednesday Jan. 15 at the Drama Book Shop in Manhattan to sign copies of her new autobiography, Once a Dancer . . .. Kent, one of George Balachine's primary muses, was featured in his Episodes, The Seven Deadly Sins, and Stars and Stripes. Published by St. Martin's Press, her book chronicles both her triumphant professional career and her rocky private life.
