News Dangerous Ground to Present Multimedia Production of Paris Belongs to Us; Casting Announced Paris Belongs to Us, a multimedia theatre production presented by Dangerous Ground, will play Brooklyn's The Brick Theater.

Previews will begin Dec. 10 prior to an official opening Dec. 11. Performances will continue through Dec. 21.

Conceived, designed and directed by Doris Mirescu, Paris Belongs to Us is based on Jacques Rivette's 1961 film of the same name. The cast will feature Brooke Bell, Josh Berkowitz, Kira Davies, Penny Folger, Javier Antonio Gonzales, Susannah Hoffman, Melissa Hudson, Bree Merkwan, Craig Newman, Tiff Roma, Veraalba Santa, David Skeist, Steven Slate, Mickey Solis and Marcos Toledo.

Here's how the production is billed: "A murder mystery unfolding in contemporary Paris; a young girl/detective looking for the truth; a group of actors rehearsing Shakespeare's 'Pericles;' a political refugee; a femme fatale and a theatre director; a lost recording; a love story; an unfinished play; frightening secrets; comedy; revolution; and much more."

Paris Belongs to Us is the second installment of a trilogy exploring Rivette's work presented by The Brick, having been preceded by L'Amour Fou. The series will end with Out 1: Don't Touch Me, 3, a multimedia theatre adaptation of Rivette's film "Out 1."

The creative team of Paris Belongs to Us includes Marshall Miller (set/technical supervision, video/sound installation); Kira Davis and Marshall Miller (lights); Doron Bloomfield, Craig Newman and Michael Rekevics (live cameras); Tim Race (live guitar); Doris Mirescu (set and costume design, art direction); and Tiffany Roma (assistant to the director).
