News Daniel Craig Exits "The Whole Truth" Film Days Before Shooting Begins Daniel Craig, recently seen on Broadway in the revival of Harold Pinter's Betrayal, has departed the film "The Whole Truth" less than a week before shooting was scheduled to begin, according to Deadline.com.

The picture, which co-stars Renee Zellweger, was to begin filming April 11 in Boston. A reason was not announced for Craig's departure from the project.

"The Whole Truth" has a script by Nicholas Kazan. Courtney Hunt is directing the film about a defense attorney whose client is accused of murdering his wealthy father. Gabriel Basso is cast as the young defendant.

Earlier this season, Craig co-starred with is wife, Academy Award winner Rachel Weisz, in the Broadway revival of Betrayal, which played the Ethel Barrymore Theatre under the direction of Mike Nichols.
