Ed Harris and Daniel Massey star in the U.S. premiere of Taking Sides, Ronald Harwood's hit London drama that's now in Broadway previews and opens Oct. 17 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.

Harwood's drama, which explores the ethical dilemma of classical conductor Wilhelm Furwangler (Massey) who worked with the Nazis in his native Germany during World War II, but then found himself an artist disdained in the postwar world. Harris, an Oscar nominee for Apollo 13 and a Tony nominee for Precious Sons, plays the singleminded American officer determined to see him punished.
