News Danner, White, Kurtz and Brown Appear in ATW Panel Jan. 14 The powerhouse foursome of Blythe Danner, Julie White, Swoosie Kurtz and Blair Brown will appear in an American Theatre Wing "Working in the Theatre" panel discussion premiering on CUNY TV in New York Jan. 14 at 5 PM.

Additional air dates are Jan. 19 at 2 PM and 7:30 PM, Jan. 20 at 11 AM and Jan. 21 at 5 PM. Ted Chapin serves as moderator. Danner currently stars Off-Broadway in Suddenly, Last Summer, which runs at the Roundabout Theatre Company's Laura Pels Theatre through Jan. 20. Kurtz recently starred on Broadway in Heartbreak House at the Roundabout's American Airlines Theatre. White stars on Broadway in The Little Dog Laughed, which closes Feb. 18. Brown stars in The Clean House, which runs Off-Broadway at Lincoln Center Theater's Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater through Jan. 28.

According to press notes, the actresses will "share their thoughts on their careers on stage, from the difference between working in plays and musicals, to whether they still audition for roles, to the experience of working with living playwrights — and whether they feel they ever have any power on a production."

The American Theatre Wing, best known as the creator of the Tony Awards, runs panels that bring together theatre performers, producers, playwrights, directors, choreographers, composers, agents and others. CUNY TV is a cable channel serving New York City with educational, cultural and public affairs programs.
