Original Rent cast member Daphne Rubin-Vega is among the special guests announced for The Jonathan Larson Project, a concert series dedicated to rarely heard and unreleased material from the Rent creator's catalog of work.

Running October 9–14 at Feinstein’s/54 Below, each concert will feature a different special guest who will join previously announced performers Nick Blaemire (Godspell), Lauren Marcus (Be More Chill, Beatsville), Andy Mientus (NBC's Smash, Spring Awakening), Destinee Rea (Amélie, Dreamgirls), and George Salazar (Be More Chill, The Lightning Thief). They will be backed by music director-orchestrator Charlie Rosen and a five-piece band.

Initial talent includes Jonathan Larson Grant Award winners Paul Scott Goodman, Amanda Green, Joe Iconis, Brian Lowdermilk, and Shaina Taub (October 9); Daphne Rubin-Vega (October 10 at 7 PM); Amy Spanger and Jerry Dixon (October 12 at 7 PM); Matthew McCollum (October 12 at 9:30 PM); Dylan McCollum (October 13 at 9:30 PM); and Jay Armstrong Johnson (October 14 at 9:30 PM).

Additional guest artists will be announced.
