The reading at the Players Club in Manhattan features the talents of Daphne Rubin-Vega, Andre De Shields, Ty Jones, Phillip Christian, Sharon Washington, Time Out New York journalist Adam Feldman, Nick Corley, Cheryl Freeman, Nora Chester, Marylee Martin, Panchali Null, Daryl Lathon, Ariel Estrada, James Rana and Diane Stilwell Weinberg, with Susan Aquila on the fiddle. Show time is 7 PM.

David Staller, the acclaimed singer-actor who has produced and directed all of the Project Shaw offerings, handles the same duties for this reading.

The Shewing-Up of Blanco Posnet, press notes state, is "Shaw's cowboy mystery/comedy that takes place in the Wild Old American West. The town is ready to hang Blanco Posnet as a horse thief before a mysterious stranger appears." Never before performed in New York, Passion Play is about "Jesus, Judas and the whole gang, but with a distinctly unusual Shavian perspective."

Past participants include Blair Brown, Mark Kudisch, Kerry Butler, Tyne Daly, Jonathan Hadary, Daniel Jenkins, Rebecca Luker, Michael Cerveris, Karen Ziemba, Michele Pawk, Bruce Vilanch, Jack Gilpin and George S. Irving.

The Players Club is located in Manhattan at 16 Gramercy Park South. Tickets, priced $25, are available by calling (212) 352-3101. For more information visit www.projectshaw.com.
