News Darren Criss to Appear on Premiere of "The Glee Project" "Glee's" Darren Criss will make an appearance as a guest mentor on the premiere episode of Oxygen's "The Glee Project," to air June 12, according to Deadline.com.

The new reality series, according to Oxygen, will follow "performers [who] will compete for a multi-episode guest-starring role on season three of hit series 'Glee' [on Fox]."

According to the actor's twitter account, Criss "flubbed some lines from 'Raise Your Glass,'" but is "so happy to be supporting @thegleeproject."

Criss plays the role of Blaine, the openly-gay Warbler at Dalton Academy, on Fox's "Glee." Prior to "Glee," Criss was best known for his portrayal of Harry Potter in the YouTube hit, "A Very Potter Musical."

"Glee" airs Tuesday nights at 8 PM ET on Fox.
