Dates for the Broadway transfer of the acclaimed hit West End production of A Doll's House have been announced: previews will be begin March 25, with an opening April 2 at the Belasco Theatre.

Ticket for the limited, 18-week engagement (playing until July 26) go on sale via Tele-charge (212 239-6200, 800-432-7250). You can also order tickets on Playbill On-Line starting Sunday, March 9.

Leading the cast will be Janet McTeer, who garnered enthusiastic reviews and Best Actress nods at the 1997 Olivier and London Critics Circle Awards for her portrayal of Henrik Ibsen's heroine Nora.

McTeer will be joined by three of her London co-stars: Owen Teale, John Carlisle, and Peter Gowen. These British actors were the subject of protracted negotiations between producer Bill Kenwright and Actor's Equity, which was reluctant to grant work visas beyond the typical 12-14 week length. An agreement was finally reached mid-February.

Anthony Page, who directed the London production, will do the same for Broadway. The design team will also remain intact: set and costumes by Deirdre Clancy, lighting by Peter Mumford, music by Jason Carr, choreography by Caroline Pope, and sound design by Scott Myers and John Owens.
