Conceived, co-written and directed by radio personality and former Playbill.com editor Dave Lefkowitz, the limited engagement, which stars Rabbi Sol Solomon, continues through March 17.

Shalom Dammit!, according to press notes, "offers the Rabbi’s wit and wisdom on such topics as world religions, intolerance, Christianity, Arabs and Muslims, the Holocaust and other aspects of modern Jewish life. Punctuating the Rabbi’s sermon will be such songs as 'Then You’re Jewish,' 'I Know What Goys Like' and 'When Jewish is What You Are.'"

Solomon is joined onstage by musical director Richard Shore. Bill Bradford is the production stage manager.

Shalom Dammit! was seen in a developmental staging in November 2011 at the University of Northern Colorado. Industry support is sought to bring the production to an Off-Broadway venue in the 2012-13 season.

The Richmond Shepard Theater is located at 309 East 26th Street (at 2nd Avenue). For more information and tickets, call (970) 405-3077 or visit brownpapertickets.com or www.ShalomDammit.com.
