Entitled "One Day," the new recording is due Aug. 9 via LML Music/Allegro. The CD, produced by Mark Vogel, features such classic pop tunes as "Bridge Over Troubled Water" and "Unchained Melody" as well as songs co-written by Burnham.

For his performance in the national tour of The Light in the Piazza, David Burnham received the 2007 Helen Hayes Award for Best Actor and the 2007 Garland Award; he also appeared in the Broadway staging of that Adam Guettel musical. Burnham starred in the title role of the national tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and in the national tour of Jesus Christ Superstar. He created the role of Fiyero in the pre-Broadway workshops of Wicked; his other theatrical credits include productions of Tom Jones, Letters from 'Nam, Peggy Sue Got Married, Godspell, Children of Eden, Woman in Black, Assassins and Pirates of Penzance. Burnham also appeared in the Actors Fund benefit concert of On the 20th Century.
