The show is scheduled to run at the New Wimbledon Theatre from Dec. 7, 2006, to Jan. 14, 2007. Hasselhoff made his West End stage debut two years ago as the slick lawyer Billy Flynn in the long-running London production of Chicago.

In 2003 another famous face from American television took on the role of Hook when "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" actor Anthony Head appeared in Peter Pan at the Savoy Theatre. Head just appeared as Frank-N-Furter in a one-off gala performance of The Rocky Horror Show, staged as part of the Royal Court’s 50th anniversary celebrations. The musical spoof has recently been revived for a U.K. touring production starring David Badella.

Hasselhoff, 53, made his Broadway debut in 2000 playing the title roles in Frank Wildhorn’s Jekyll & Hyde. In Peter Pan he will be joined by television comedian Bobby Davro.
