News David Hyde Pierce Will Host Alzheimer's Fundraiser; Brian Stokes Mitchell to Perform Tony winner David Hyde Pierce, who will be part of Manhattan Theatre Club's upcoming season, will be the emcee for the Alzheimer's Association, New York City Chapter's annual "Forget-Me-Not" Gala, An Evening to End Alzheimer’s, which will be held June 6 at The Pierre.

Tony winner Brian Stokes Mitchell, most recently on Broadway in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, will perform.

The evening will also offer a cocktail reception, silent and live auctions, dinner and dancing to Valerie Romanoff's Starlight Orchestra.

Bob and Helen Appel will receive the 2011 Community Leadership Award, and Alex Appel will receive the 2011 Young Leadership Award. The 2011 Public Awareness Award will go to CBS 2 medical reporter, Dr. Max Gomez.
