Performances begin February 8 for Atlantic Theater Company’s world-premiere staging of The Penitent by award-winning playwright David Mamet. The new play is directed by artistic director Neil Pepe, with an official opening night set for February 27.

In Pulitzer Prize winner Mamet’s newest work, a renowned psychiatrist, played by Bauer, is asked to testify on behalf of a young patient.
