News David Schwimmer and Director Anne Kaufmann Discuss Detroit Sept. 24 at The Drama League Stage and screen actor David Schwimmer, who currently stars in Off-Broadway's Detroit at Playwrights Horizons, sits down with director Anne Kaufmann Sept. 24 as part of The Drama League's 2012 fall/winter programming schedule of panels and special events.

An Evening with David Schwimmer and director Anne Kaufmann begins at 7 PM. 
Schwimmer, who is best known for playing Ross on the television sitcom "Friends," is also a director and a founding member of Chicago's Lookingglass Theatre Company and has appeared on Broadway in The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial. Drama League Directors Project alumna Kauffman (Slowgirl) directed Off-Broadway's Detroit

Following the evening with Schwimmer will be events featuring Tony Award winner David Hyde Pierce, Michael Shannon and casting director Bernard Telsey.

An Evening with Michael Shannon and director Dexter Bullard  is scheduled for Sept. 27 at 5:30 PM. 
Academy Award nominee Shannon ("Revolutionary Road") and Drama League Directors Project alum Bullard (Bug) will discuss Craig Wright's new Broadway play Grace, which is directed by Bullard and stars Shannon, Paul Rudd ("Knocked Up") and Ed Asner ("The Mary Tyler Moore Show"). Shannon, who has been seen on the New York, London and Chicago stages, is best known for his role on HBO's "Boardwalk Empire."

An Evening with David Hyde Pierce
 will be held Nov. 19 at 7 PM. 
Hyde Pierce, an Emmy Award winner for his work on the television series "Frasier," won a Tony Award for his performance in Curtains and has also been seen on Broadway in Spamalot, Accent on Youth and Beyond Therapy, among others.

Telsey, who heads Telsey + Company, will offer An Evening with Casting Director Bernard Telsey
 Oct. 22 at 7 PM.
 He is also co-founding artistic director of MCC Theater and the New York vice president of the Casting Society of America. Telsey's recent Broadway credits include Annie, Evita, Legally Blonde and Gore Vidal's The Best Man. According to press notes,  "He'll share his experience and his process of matching the perfect actor to the perfect role." These selected series events take place at The Drama League's current home at 520 8th Avenue, 3rd floor. Admission is free to Drama League members and $25 for non-members.
