Joanna Pinzler will direct a cast that includes Kevin Kern, Jennifer Dinoia, Sheri Sanders and David R. Gordon.
Andrew Turteltaub will assist on the project with Maria Pendolino as stage manager. Cronin will serve as musical director with William Demaniow as assistant musical director/accompanist.
"Set in and around San Francisco," Daybreak, according to press notes, is "an intricate musical with a lush contemporary score, about the dark places people may go when they are faced with life's unexpected changes and challenges."
Cronin is the composer/lyricist and co-book writer (with Alicia Dempster) of Welcome to My Life, and composer/lyricist of 'Til Death Do Us Part with book writer Allen Mogol; "untitled," with a book by award-winning playwright Crystal Skillman and Kate Pazakis; Caty Bridgewater for Step Theatre Company; and Then I Met You: A Song Cycle. He is a co-writer of That's Andy and has written music for the web series Thank You, Next. Cronin is a graduate of Yale University, a member of ASCAP and The Dramatists Guild.
