The Daytime Emmys, which recognize outstanding achievement in all fields of daytime television, air on the HLN network beginning at 8 PM ET.  (CBS, which aired the Emmys the previous two years, declined to make room on its schedule for the 2012 telecast.)

Bill Geddie, executive producer of ABC's "The View," will be presented with the 2012 Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions as a writer, producer and director.

Brady, who was also seen in the Hollywood Bowl production of Rent, received a nomination for Outstanding Game Show Host of "Let's Make a Deal." Among the nominees for Outstanding Talk Show Host are Anderson Cooper, who voiced the Narrator in the recent rival of How to Succeed, and Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa ("Live! With Regis and Kelly").

Other stage actors who received nominations include Bradford Anderson (Celebration reading) and Anthony Geary (Big Art Labs' Into the Woods) for "General Hospital"; Matthew Ashford (Music Circus' I Do! I Do!) for "Days of Our Lives"; John McCook (West Side Story) and Heather Tom (Prymate) for "The Bold and the Beautiful"; and Darnell Williams (Angels in America) for "All My Children."
