Winokur, currently seen on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars," is the second Tracy Turnblad to have a daytime talk show produced by Sony. The company was also responsible for Ricki Lake's self-titled chat-fest that was popular in the 1990's. Variety reports that Sony is preparing for a fall 2009 launch in nationwide markets.

Winokur will go head to head in the talk-show market with another former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant, Marie Osmond, who is also planning a launch of her own show in 2009.

Winokur earned a Tony Award for creating the role of Tracy Turnblad in the hit-musical adaptation of Hairspray. She has appeared on screen in "Scary Movie," "American Beauty," "Stacked," "Curb Your Enthusiasm," "Boston Legal" and "Fugly."
