James Armstrong's play, directed by Rob Urbinati, features Jeremy Beiler, Denise Bessette, Dan Cordle, Susanna Guzmán, Jo Mei, Maja Wampuszyc, Richard Zekaria and Angela Polite. Opening is Sept. 10. Performances play to Sept. 24 at the Dorothy Strelsin Theatre in Abingdon's home on West 36th Street.

In it, "a philandering mid-level State Department bureaucrat, pretending to be the Assistant Secretary of State promises one green card to three illegal aliens, all beautiful young women," according to Abingdon. "When the three women show up at his office on the same night to cash in on his promise, farcical hilarity ensues…and then a fourth woman arrives, with an entirely different plan in store for him."

James Armstrong is also the author of the one-act play Searching for St. Anthony, which was sponsored by Abingdon for the 2003 Samuel French Off-Off-Broadway Festival. Attic Ensemble in Jersey City produced his full-length play The Four Doctors Huxley.

Designers include Gabriel Hainer Evansohn (set), Susan Scherer (costumes), Carl Faber (lights) and Graham Johnson (sound).

Performances are Tuesday–Saturday at 7:30 PM, Saturday matinees at 2 PM, and Sunday matinees at 3 PM. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased by calling (212) 868-4444 or at Smarttix.com. They can also be purchased at the box office one hour prior to the show.
