News Death Takes a Holiday's Jill Paice Set for Reading of Paganini Jill Paice, recently seen Off-Broadway in Death Takes a Holiday, will take part in a by-invitation-only reading of Paganini, a new play by Tony Georges, Dec. 13.

The 6 PM reading will be held at Second Stage Theatre Mainstage.

The cast will also feature Alexander Markov and Fred Rose (Company, Cabaret). Playwright Georges directs with musical direction by Fred Lassen.

This new play, according to production notes, "follows the life and career of the greatest violinist of all time, Nicolo Paganini. Led by famed concert violinist Alexander Markov, the ensemble of actor-musicians play Paganini’s notoriously difficult compositions as they tell the story of the mysterious virtuoso and his controversial rise to fame and power."

Stage managers are Andrew Zachary Cohen and Travis Acreman. Maddy Bassi and Idle Mind, Ltd. produce.
