News Debbie Reynolds to Play the El Portal in May and the Cafe Carlyle in June Showbiz legend Debbie Reynolds will bring her acclaimed solo show, Debbie Reynolds: An Evening of Music and Comedy, to both the El Portal Theatre in Hollywood, CA, and the Cafe Carlyle in Manhattan within the next few months.

Reynolds will first play the El Portal Theatre Mainstage April 29-May 10. She will be accompanied by musical director Joey Singer. Reynolds will then head to New York to play the famed Cafe Carlyle June 2-27.

Debbie Reynolds earned an Academy Award nomination for her work in the movie musical "The Unsinkable Molly Brown." The triple-threat is also known for performances in "Singin' in the Rain," "How the West Was Won" and "The Catered Affair" as well as her TV show, "The Debbie Reynolds Show." Reynolds was Tony-nominated for her performance in Irene, and later assumed the lead role in Broadway's Woman of the Year.

Show times at the El Portal are April 29-May 2 and May 7, 8 and 10 at 8 PM with matinees May 6 at 2 PM and May 3 and 10 at 3 PM.

Show times at the Carlyle are Tuesday-Friday at 8:45 PM and Saturday at 8:45 PM and 10:45 PM.
