Casting is now complete for the North Shore Music Theatre's production of Chicago — starring Deborah Gibson — which begins previews at the Massachusetts theatre on Oct. 29.

The final cast member to be confirmed is William Michals, who will portray slick lawyer Billy Flynn. Michals has starred on Broadway in Beauty and the Beast, where he played the Beast and Gaston. He appeared as Chauvelin in the national tour of The Scarlet Pimpernel, and his other theatrical credits include Les Misérables, The Music Man, Man of La Mancha, The Phantom of the Opera and Camelot. Michals' television credits include "Law and Order," "All My Children" and "Guiding Light."

The NSMT's production of the Kander and Ebb musical will have an official opening on Oct. 31 and will play through Nov. 24.

Kim Morgan Greene will star opposite Gibson in the role of Roxie Hart. A Broadway veteran, Greene worked with the late Bob Fosse on the Sweet Charity revival and was also featured in the Tony Award-winning musical Fosse. Greene's screen credits include "The Colbys," "Another World," "The Gardener" and "P.U.N.K.S." Eleanor Glockner, who has appeared in Broadway's Beauty and the Beast, Guys and Dolls and City of Angels, will play Matron "Mamma" Morton, and Mark Manley, who performed in the Broadway companies of Fiddler on the Roof and Legs Diamond, will play Amos Hart. Daniel Levine, featured in The Rocky Horror Show and Jesus Christ Superstar on Broadway, will play Mary Sunshine. Directed and choreographed by Barry Ivan — in the style of Bob Fosse — the ensemble of Chicago comprises Eddie Bennett, Bill Burns Michelle Bruckner, Deanna Dys, Hillary Elliott, David Glaspie, Mindy Haywood, Eric Hoisington, Nick Kenkel, Jennifer Elle Lewis, Kathy Meyer, Brian O'Brien and Stephen Wenslawski. The musical will feature musical direction by Keith Thompson, scenic design by Dex Edwards, lighting design by John McLain and costume design by Thomas Marquez.
