Lea DeLaria, Tsidii Le Loka and Phyllis Newman will be the next trio to take on Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues, performing Oct. 1-22. Jayne Atkinson, Charlotte Rae and Alice Ripley end their engagement Sept. 29.

The Vagina Monologues are just that, solo contemplations of a woman's most intimate body part. Ensler interviewed 200 diverse women, including the elderly, African Americans and Bosnian rape victims, asking them a myriad of questions from "What do you call your vagina?" to "If your vagina got dressed, what would it wear?"

Now a jazz singer and still a comedian, DeLaria appeared on Broadway in On the Town and The Rocky Horror Show, in which she played Eddie. Le Loka was Tony nominated for her role as Rafiki in The Lion King. Tony winner Newman is also a breast cancer education advocate, whose Health Intiative through Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS raises funds for women in the industry suffering from breast cancer and AIDS.

Joe Mantello, who staged Love! Valour! Compassion! on Broadway, is the director of the show. A percentage of ticket sales ($10) for The Vagina Monologues goes to the V Day Initiative, in support of women's issues.

Tickets are $55. For further information on the Westside engagement, call (212) 239-6200.
